I am creating this fundraiser for myself because I am trying to resolve a car loan that has put my family in a very painful and overwhelming situation. About four years ago, I co-signed for a vehicle for someone I considered a friend, trusting that after six months they would refinance and remove me from the loan. That never happened. Instead, I have spent the last three years trapped in a situation where I remain on the loan, the vehicle has not been paid, and my credit has been severely damaged. Our friendship has ended, but the debt and consequences have stayed with me. I never imagined that helping someone would leave me in a position where I cannot move forward financially or protect the people who depend on me most. 

 At the same time, my family is facing a crisis at home. My father is living with developing dementia, and because he can no longer work, my parents are being forced to leave the home where they are currently staying. I want to help them find stable housing, but because my credit has been harmed by this co-signed vehicle loan, I cannot qualify for the credit I would need to help them. I also have two daughters who depend on me every day, and I am doing everything I can to stay strong and keep going for them. The funds from this fundraiser will help me pay off the vehicle so I can get out of this loan, begin repairing my credit, and be in a better position to support my parents and continue caring for my daughters. 

 I do not usually ask for help, and it is not easy for me to do this. I am reaching out because I truly feel I have run out of options. If you are able to support me, whether by donating or sharing this fundraiser, it would mean more than I can express.
